State Senator Win Stoller has released a strong statement condemning the passage of Senate Bill 2412 and the new language it contains, which he believes threatens the slating power of election candidates. Stoller criticized the bill, expressing his concerns about its implications on the upcoming election.

Stoller stated, "When democrats don’t like what they see, they are changing our election laws midstream to highjack our upcoming election benefiting their own party. There’s only one reason to push major legislation like this through in 24 hours and it’s so they can stack the deck for their favored incumbents and steal our elections. Changing the rules in the middle of the game in a backroom deal is a blatant abuse of power. Free and fair elections are built into the bedrock of our nation. We can’t allow Democrats to undermine that critical process."

The senator's words reflect his firm stance against what he perceives as a partisan move to manipulate the electoral process.
